new motor

I found a 4.6 out of a 08 police car with 30k on the clock for 750 dollars. I need a new motor and was wondering if that sounded like a good deal. It will be going in my 02 gt. I would have to change the intake, oil pan and timing cover. I will also be putting in a new clutch. What clutch do you recomend?

Well, that sounds like a good deal. It's a 2V I am assuming, and it has low miles. It should be a drop in for yours, just swap whatever's different from yours to it. Go with a centerforce dual friction, they work really well on the street.

if thats the actual miles it sounds like a decent price to me, ive seen alot higher mileage for the same money or more.

Do you plan on any big power adders or spray? kinda have to think to the future when your buying a clutch..

Yes I plan on running some kind of power adder just don't know what one yet.
