...I would rather have 50-100 loyal, chill, cruisin', racin', down to earth people who are passionate about cars....than to have a few thousand people from the Pnut gallery or craigslisters trying to make a buck. A "successful" website doesn't have to have the highest member count. It just depends what the goals are for the website. If it's meets and cruise-ins, then aim it at that. If it's track racing and build threads, aim it at that. If it's "who can sell the most shit out of the for sale section" aim it at that LOL.

IMO, we have the members here to have a great turnout year after year. You just need to engage everybody and keep setting up events (well in advance for some of us). We don't need to be out recruiting for more members. We need to increase the activity of our current members, and that will attract more members.

p.s. Increasing the for sale section activity of the board isn't going to do jack squat for event attendance.
