how much fuel pressure can i push on my car.it has a true gt 40 intake 70 mm throtle body 24lb injectors b cam 4.10 gear if that matters.the guy i got it from said it was a 306.this is the first car that ive owned thats been mildly built and just tryin to learn please help

40-42psi, pull the spout and set timing around 12-14 with 90+ octane. If it pings, back it up.

thanks guys.and what would be the better cam for me to run.not buildin a drag car jus a simple street car with some heart.was told to run the f cam needed to grind the pistons down.so would the e cam be better for me

^ good cam, But if it was me def love the B-Cam. They pound concrete. Chk them out. If u youtube b cam, e cam etc there is alot of cars on there with start ups and walk arounds :bigthumb

keep the bcam I have a similar setup with gt40p heads and made 280whp. They sound mean as hell and driveability is great. just my .02

what exhaust setup are you running? Ive got ford racing shorties for pheads, o/r mac prochamber and 3in mac catback w/tailpipes and it sounds nasty. When your say it doesnt have a rumble im assuming you mean it doesnt have that earth shaking cam lope we all love, your idle could be too high or you could just have too much initial timing. Your idle should be set around 750-850Rpms.
