how can you tell if a car has already had pi swap done ?

The intake manifold is probably the quickest way to tell.... but then again you can find some cars that are not PI swapped, but do have an aluminum cross over.

If i remember correctly "PI" is stamped on the heads, but i dont know if you can see them without having the heads off.

Cameron would probably know... him and Mike researched this alot when they did his swap.

mine has aluminum crossover thats why i am asking it looks like the one at summit for the pi swap

The easiest way is the intake ports.

its a pretty obvious difference when you compare the two but you would need to fine a picture. You could also locate the part numbers on the intake and heads.

yeah look for the ford number. you can also look in the valley under the intake. if it looks like its touching the block its a PI. If you see a tube running almost underneath it then its a non. Some cars just have the intake swapped or cams too and not the heads.
