Okay well I bought a suspension kit from EiBach for my car and haven't had it installed yet. But I just am wondering if I'm going to need these for my car to have the correct alignment? The kit is said to lower the car about 1.5" all the way around.

Before you buy the CC Plates, install the new kit, drive it to your local alignment shop and have them dial everything in. With only a 1-1/2" drop I would not expect plates to be needed. They may have to open the adjustment hole a tad, but not likely. If they can't get it pulled in, you'll have to go with the plates. Like Plated said, Do not drive the car until it is aligned!

1.5 inches is right on the cusp of needing/not needing CC plates. I would do it to be on the safe side.

most places that do good work wont alter the strut towers for liability issues on the shop. if you check ebay you can pick up new billet steel cc plates for like $110 with free shipping.

we would never alter a strut tower for an alignment. and when we do alignment its still 74.99 even if we have to play with camber.
dropping the car 1.5 will put your factory camber right on the line. even though it is within spec it will still wear your tires.
buy the plates for 150 or buy two font tires for 400?

Where can I get plates for $150, the cheapest I have ever seen was between 250 to 300?

Yeah but most of those prices are for 99-04 mustangs. Most of the companies that make them for 05 and newer are are over 200.
