Anyone going? Mike Field and I are leaving this afternoon and heading down to watch some awesome drag radial racing. Looking forward to fast cars and 75 degree weather!

Damn, i really wanted to go down there. Gotta work tho. Its gonna be badass for sure. Cars are already posting up sick numbers in testing.

Well we made it south of atlanta. Staying in some nasty ass super 8. If all goes well and I can get mike away from the waffle house in the morning...we should be there early morning!

Oct is my birthday month. Sounds like a nice gift to me. Lol

Now we just need to get the car done. I picked up some 39lb injectors. I'm trying to find deals on stuff.

Call me after you inspect your new motor.

Well...I actually have a sunburn! What an awesome day of racing. Sooooo many nice fast cars. Trace Meyer went a 4.90 on a Hoosier 275 radial. This track and facility are very nice.

Well...what can I say? It was freaking awesome. The amount of nice cars was absolutely amazing. Hard to believe how fast a 275 drag radial can go. After seeing car after car run any where from 4.40s to 5.30s on drag radials...it made me a believer!

SGMP is a 1st class facility. This event is definitely on my yearly to make races. Hard to beat mid to upper 70s, sunshine and fast cars...in February!

Mike took some pics, hopefully he'll post some up.

Had room??? Where in the Focus? We could have taken something else though. I'd have to agree with everything Rich said, that place was awesome and the race cars were unbelievable. There was not one home built car on the property. These all were professional built race cars, it was kind of depressing seeing all that nice stuff and having to come home and work on what I have. But it did motivate me to getting done and getting to the race track. I did take some pics but they didnt turn out to good. I will post them later but I have to say there was some much nice stuff to see and I'm not much of a picture taking guy. Duck and the gang put on a hell of a deal and I thought it would be a little more hill billy ish but I was way off and will definately be going again.

Duck puts on a hell of a show. I was following the action the best I could at home from the live feed and updates on YB. I hope to be able to go down to the fall race.

Yes Don was there, hated to see it break. I think it was a driveshaft. He had it covered up all day Saturday.
