Looking for a DD for around $3k. Must be a 4 door, and in good running condition. Let me know what you have.
Thanks,
Mark

I hate buying used cars. I'd rather buy something from someone that I either know, or somebody that someone I know knows. I just figure I'd be less likely to get hosed.

Used car market blows right now, cash for clunkers and the lapse in leasing from FoMocredit and gmac combined with tax season make it suck if your hunting for a car. High unemployment is the only redeemer. Good luck.

Tell me about it. Every search yields cars with 150k+ miles and they still want $5k or more. Where are all of the $1,500 Civic's?
I did find a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis GS for $5k. Has just at 70k miles.

You can find a 4 door civic all day long for that price range on the list. I sold two last year...a 97 with 85k miles for $4000 and a 96 with 200k for $2800 a couple months ago. That price should be able to get you a 150k mile civic in good condition not all riced out or rusted. Good luck with the seach, I will keep my eye out for a good car.
