I have heard of a couple people doing this and if I am not mistaken you may have to knotch the shock towers and as far as the engine. You can either use the stock wiring harness but there would be alot of extra crap to make it all work right. I do believe that they do make an aftermarket stand alone engine managment system. I would definately do some google searching and see if anyone else has done it.

I myself have always wanted to put a 4.6 down into a 60's stang, but never had the funds to attemp such a crazy project.

The whole donor as computer, harness, etc etc? I started with only a new engine & Trans and had a Hell of a time trying to find everything. Got to the point I said, fuck it and sold the engine/trans.
As long as you have everything, it wont be bad at all.
If you run a pulley smaller than 3.0, it will clear a stock hood and be a cool sleeper...until you hit the throttle.

Go start a build thread to keep us all update with the build. Good luck.:bigthumb

Use the column, hydroboost & pedal assembly out of the Cobra. You will have to trim the firewall for the hydroboost and make a small support for the pedal assembly. Its not bad. Im pulling the Cobra pedal assembly out of my coupe, but Ill try and snap a pic before its out.

Here is a shot of the FW. Notice I had to grind the top of the factory hole and drill a new hole for the stud.

Here is a simple 90 degree bracket I made for the Column.

Here is the whole 03/04 Cobra assembly in the car.

Are you needing these pieces? I am switching back to FOX pedals and a Manual master cylinder so I dont need the Cobra stuff.

thanks for the pics and what would you want for those pieces. i was up till 4.30 am reading on this stuff and i called 0n 3 performance and they told me you can run the hydro with fox pedals with a modded brake rod. i would like to use as much fox stuff as possible i would like it to be as stock looking as it can but you cant always get what u want i know. i started this morning pulling the motor and trans and ive been jumpn everwhere else i aslso have seats, console, cluster and iam hoping to get the interior and driveline out today. iam going to get pic and if i can figure out how to load them up in full size pics i will. let me know on those pieces thanks a bunch.

i got my hydrobooster mounted today very easily done. also the hydrobooster hooked right up to the fox pedald so i dont understand all the whole thing that other people have said about cutting the ends and welding them or having to put 03 pedals in to do this. any ideas. also got the k member in upr i have done a 1/2 inch spacer between the frame and the k wich lowers the engine for clerance.and it bolted right up would this be ok. any input would be great.

The reason they cut and weld the ends is because the rod ends up pushing at an angle when using fox pedals and is not optimum. Some people have said the rod angle is not bad on theirs. Ideally you want the rod to be straight

I used my 85 fox pedals and just modded the rod, very easy to do. As far as modding the strut towers you dont have to at all. Mine fits with a 3" downpipe running beside it. I think it was a very easy swap. Now granted I did not do any of the wiring because mine is carb'd.

Just modify the 03 filler neck to work with your stock Fox filler box. The 03 is just smaller in diameter is all.

Did you have to do any cutting or what not in the engine bay? I'm considering doing this for a future mod.....

i didnt cut anything this was the easiest swap i have done so far. i just used a qa1 96-04 k-member qa1 fox a-arms,fox rack all 79-93 qa1 coil over setup. 99 cobra motor with manifolds, bbk x-pipe and modified the flow tubes and hooked it upto the fox cat back. if you need to no anything direct just ask and i will try to help.
