I have a edelbrock water pump i bought used with a timing cover and slapped it all on. Question is the guy i got it from has both of the top hoses plugged. I guess one is for the heater core and the other goes to the thermostat housing. Can i keep them plugged and just plug up my thermostat housing? No heat, and will be street driven. Thx in advance

The are for the heator core and the by pass to the housing not the t-stat
Youll have to plug the thermostat housing bypass not the t-stat is what im saying!!

Yea yea i understand, But i can do this and everything be ok as far as cooling? The bypass allows water to circulate while the thermostat is closed correct?

Im getting mixed reviews on this. Some ppl saying you need the by pass and others saying you dont if u put a restrictor in place of the thermostat. Which is a hollowed out stat. Any ideas?

And im reading some ppl block it and just drill a hole in the top of the stat to allow water to by pass?!?!?!?!
