I have an 04 svt Cobra. It has a triple hook quadrant and a firewall adjuster. Im not sure of the name brand. I think it has a stock clutch cable. Not sure but I can find a picture that looks like it.The clutch pedal is releasing all the way at the top. Sometimes it slips. So I decided to mess with it today. The cable is on the middle hook. The firewall adjuster is pretty much adjusted all the way out, I can turn it anymore. I moved the cable to the hook furthest from the firewall and the clutch barely engaged and the firewall adjuster was all the way in. So I moved the cable back to the hook in the middle. I dont think the hook closest to the firewall would help. I figure it would be worse. I seems that my clutch cable is just to long. Im thinking if I adjust the firewall adjuster in and add some washers between the clutch cable and the adjuster that might help. Hopefully one of you guys know something about this crap. Let me know what you think I should do. Thanks

The clutch cable has to be an adjustable cable to work right. That is the only way that your going to be able to get the right adjustment.

i just went thru this and ended up replacing my clutch because of it.. if its a stock cable from autozone or advanced throw it in the trash is what i was told..go get a adjustable cable.i put on a zoom adjustable cable where the adjustment is down on the fork and now my clutch works amazing, very smooth and no complaints so far.

I had a nice adjustable clutch quad cable on my notch. A must have for sure.
