Terry, thank you for taking me off the "Other Dozen". I meant to post in this section since I was torn down with all kinds of issues:(.

BUT, If I make it to E20 this Friday, does that get me back on the list? Oh and my best this year was 11.565 @ 118.51, which Firestang70 and adragon72 were there to see, on 10/7, which was before I torn everything down the next day on Saturday.

I had a car that used to do what yours was doing last night. It sounded like it just completely shut off for not even a split second, Mine was a fuel pump problem, but another buddy of mine was tellin me that his 92 5.0 did the same thing and it was some kind of relay that made it cut out like that..

Thanks guys! My 10.99 wasn't red so its all good. My 60' was off on the 10.99 pass and I missed 3rd. The car was hot on the 10.97 run so it should have some 80's in it. I'm probably done for the year though.

I know, just wanted to post it up to show the difference in the times. On the 10.99 pass I raced a dragster. I thought they were going to wait and run him alone so I did my burnout and got staged then he did his burnout and took forever to get it lined up and staged. Of coarse while I was sitting there my tires cooled down and I spun, then I missed 3rd. You can see that in the 60' and 330' times. The car only cooled down for about 20min before I made the 10.99 pass. Should go some 80's cooled down.

This winter I have to learn how to tune my air/fuel ratio. Tweak the transmission programming too, clean up the quick assembly I did from parts laying around the garage and I hope to do quite a bit of racing next season. I need a car trailer. The loaner goes back in a couple days, I can still use it occasionally but I just need to get my own. At least I picked up a vehicle capable of towing well this year. I love the new family bus, but I have to rework the brakes and transmission this winter. I don't think the trans has ever been touched and has about 210k on it, it is blowing out the vent a bit and slips occasionally. When the car gets all running like it should I will be ready to put the nitrous kit on it and make for fun weekends all summer long.

It don't matter i didn't get a sticker last year and i was on the list so that list means little to me. The car has made 10.7s while i was in Texas. I think i'm gonna change the gear and redo the motor combo and make another 50 hp Should turn out some 9.9s on motor next year

Why didn't you get a sticker? I might be selling my gear if your interested. I still have not decided what I'm going to do with my car this winter. Def going to get rid of the shorty headers and get a good cam in it that will rev past 5600. It's not going to take much to get your car in the 9's. What's your best 60'?

I don't know why i didn't get one just figured they wasn't doing emm I'm not gonna piss and moan about being on the list or if i get a sticker, I know there isn't many cars that can touch me on the street so that's all i care about. It was pulling to the left real bad on the back tires.I changed the convertor and didnt expect it to change the car that much:DLooking for some 9.20's or better in the spring Once I get it to leave straight!!:bigthumb
