I found rust on the inside of the rear door and driverside bed side on my Dodge. Dealor says warranty ran out last tuesday... DAMIT!!!!

Find another dealer. If it's that close to the end of the warranty, a good service department will be able to get that approved.

They took some pics and said they will see what they can do. I think im screwed. It's the dealor i bought it from. I hope they can slide it through.

Welcome to mopar ownership. The rear bumper of my ram had rust @ 39k... I tell people it reduces drag:). hopefully they take care of you.

Unless it is rusted through, good luck on getting it covered. Just having rust there don't mean crap.

I although must say, the overall rust resistance of the domestics is WAY better then even 10 yrs ago.

Problem around here is the beat juice and other crap they are treating the roads with. I have see the fleet stuff I work on get worse the last couple years.

I thought beet juice was non-corrosive. Are you sure it's not the fact that the last few winters, it seems that they have needed to use more salt?

03z06, too bad you didn't find the rust a week earlier. At least you might have stood a chance, at getting it warrantied.
