04 cobra to 03 cobra swap

i ended up buying a 04 cobra roller and then i bought a wrecked 03 cobra and going to transplant. is the computer and the harness the same from 03 to 04 or will i have to change out all the wiring? is there a way to turn the pats system off? i am hoping to just pull the computer and harness out and put in the 04 and be ready to go.

I'm about 90% sure you'll need a lap top to turn the pats off........ Sounds like a cool project though post up

You shouldn't have to swap computers or wiring. If you do need to turn the PATS system off you will need to do it with a tune.

the 04 i bought with out motor, trans, gas tank, and computer and harness but the rest is there. if i just change it all out then i put the 03 speedo in it then the mileage say 81,xxx and 04 title say 110,000

The only way to get around the pats system is to either have it turned off with a tune or you have to change the steering column, instrument cluster and computer. But it is doable.

So you want to put a cluser in with lower mileage despite what the title and original odometer say?

If you have a hand held programmer you can have it turned off with a custom tune. Basically you take the computer code with you to the tuner of your choice and they will write a tune with the pats turned off.
