stuck in 4th

down shifted to go around a slow car on the eway and now my tranny is stuck in 4th. anyone have any ideas?

take the shifter out, mine was stuck in first and it turned out something got jammed in there. would be worth the ten minutes it takes to check out.

Try what Jake said, but if there is nothing there, then your slider assembly or your shift fork have taken a crap. I can fix it pretty cheap for you.

if it needs forks and a top plate i might have one for a t5
but i am guessing one of the spring loaded dog legs in the slider came out
