This is my lil pony the '87 Moostang. I have owned it since 2006. It was once a cobbed up mess when I got it from some 17yr old boy that thought modding meant splicing wires and unhooking stuff. I had it painted from red to black by a painter who was friends with my brother. It took 3 yrs to get it back because the painter was hooked on laquer thinner, Old Milwaukee, and Nyquil. Oh yeah and did I mention that his cat died during the paintjob? It turned out to be an ok paintjob , but not worth 3 yrs of waiting. When I finally got it back I had CRC build a new 302 HO 1995 block that I bought at the Colombus Ford Swap back in 1996. Ron built it with GT-40 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, and the B-303 cam. I added in the 24lb injectors, a Pypes x-pipe and complete exhaust. Why didn't I upgrade the intake? Yeah well I guess I forgot. I am working on that right now. After I get her dyno'd I plan to add a Vortech super-duper-charger.

I like the look of the one piece headlights, but I bought a cheap set on E-bay. The seals are leaky and have allowed moisture to collect on the inside. This happened within 1 year of purchase. :(

I think I read somewhere that on all aftermarket headlights its recommended to run a bead of clear silicone all the way around the headlight where the body and lense are sealed together. And that most aftermarket light manufacturers put that in the installation instructions. I don't own a set to personally try that with, but you could always take the housings in the house, let the moisture evaporate, and try it.

You can drill a very small hole in the bottom of the housing to allow moisture to drip out, and air to get in there to keep your lights dried out. I did this on my parents van, no problems since. Good looking stang too, keep up the good work!

We recovered the seats with a kit I ordered on-line. I can't remember the name of the company. We had a lot of trouble recovering them because the covers they made were the wrong size and the headrest covers were wrong also. Who woulda thought it would be that difficult to get the right covers for a Mustang. In the end the company had me send my old covers and the remade them at no additional charge.

I have a set of one piece headlights too. Good info. I like them but mine collect moisture too.
