ive done 30 intakes and ive never had an issue that needed more than a big screwdriver. Anybody else had to jack up their entire car and try to get the lower off? i bet no. So i failed but in the end i beat the bitch. It takes sack to jam a metal chisel in there like that...lol

your lucky it didnt have studs, I made the mistake of studding an intake once and it was a huge pita to get the damn thing back off.

Thats neat!!! I'm glad I used that shit on my intake and my thermostat housing. And I ran a bead around my water jackets on the intake as well. I guess if I ever need to take mine off, I will take the heads off with it!!!
