I'm just curious as to what your opinions are on them. I'm looking for something to replace the baseboard heat in the house. The buckstove has been doing great but I'm looking for something to help out.

No personal experience but I have heard mixed reviews though. You just have to be careful to pay attention to the area it covers. Seems like the people that have issues are using it in too large a room...

they work killer but liked stated depends on the room size and not hard on the pocket.

We use an Iheator. dropped my energy bill this winter about 80$ a month... We also are not buying from Duke anymore...

My brother has an HVAC business and he uses them to heat customers houses until repairs are finished in cold weather. They seem to do a really good job. If you have access to NG or Propane at all I would go with a vented or vent free wall mounted unit. I installed one two years ago and that thing heats one side of the house.

I have one and it heats great but the newer ones known as fouth gens are prone to the board going bad but thety have refined the design and fixed the problem.
