I used 3M adhesive remover and a razor blade. Worked well for me. That stuff evaporates QUICK and is COLD when it evaporates if its on you. Get the tint started in a corner, and it helps if the glass is warm like with a hair dryer. Then once you peel it off you can give it a good rub down in adhesive remover followed by a good cleaning with windex.

Be careful if its on a hatch with the defrost lines

Thanks man , ive heard you can you a mixture of vinegar and water to loosen up the glue but never tried it and yes im removing it from my hatch window so i will have to be careful. Looks like cheap tint that has turned purplish color.

PM dedpedal on here. He can give you some good tips...he's a window tinter.

I think the method he prefers takes a sunny warmer day. Spray down the tint to be removed with glass cleaner heavy..then take a black trash bag and stick it to the window. Then let the car sit sealed up in the sun for a hour or 2. It should peal off pretty easy after that...the heat and cleaner loosen up the old adhesive.

I spray the windows down with windex then stick foil to it and let the car sit in the sun all day. Works pretty good.
