charging issue

my 93 lx is not holding a charge.checked alt. its fine.the only thing i have done different is put a tach in but when i started havin problems i unhooked it.does any one hav any ideas what this could be

after you unhooked it is was okay? if not check you hatch/ coupe light. if that don't help . take the negative off your battery cable and connect a multimeter inbatween the ground cable and negative on the battery. if it is above 0.5 you have a draw. pull the fuses one by one until it goes below that number. then just find out what that fuse runs to.

Check your visor, if you have vanity mirror lights. They can stay on and drive you nuts, trying to figure it out.

could also be the regulator on the alt i will charge but it will still pull juice when its not running. just one more thing to check
