What all do I need to do to remove all the EGR stuff. I have some of it removed that I know how but what is all the stuff on the back side of the passenger side strut tower? Is there a way to get rid of the check engine light if this stuff is removed (without pulling the bulb out?)

Dunno about others but when i did my head swap on my old car i just let them hang. I think some of the heater box stuff is over there. And no chk engine on mine.

There are a few ways to accomplish this

1) Get a chip and tune which will tell the computer to stop looking for egr readings.

2) There is a electronic piece you can purchase that will "trick" the computer into thinking the egr is there.

3) While you are removing the egr stuff, if you leave the valve on, but get it open half way and leave it apparently this doesn't cause a check engine light.
