Not sure if anyone is interested but one of my buddies is selling an Iguana. Only reason for selling is he's going into the Airforce and his mom doesnt want to take care of it while he's gone. Here's the details. Seems like a pretty good deal.
Location northern KY
Less than a year old 16" from nose to tail
75 gal aquarium
all lamps (fully furnished)
asking $250.00 (stated he has about $700 in it)
call Stephen 859-628-8279
again listing for a friend so I don't have pictures but he can send you some via text.
Thanks

It's just that no one has alot of time to take care of another animal. Decent price though. If he still has issues on getting rid of all, I would call a couple pet stores and see what they would give him. My father & I used to own a pet store and I know that all the stuff for any animal can get expensive.

I heard that........ I wouldnt think they'd take alot of time to take care of but I've never owned one either.... just thought it was a heck of a price and he's a good kid would like to see him get a good home before he goes off to basic training....... wow that would be cool to own a pet store..

yeah I have played with about any animal you can think of (Rats, Cats, Dogs, Scorpions, Terantulas, Hawks, Racoons (raised a few), squirrels, Gators, all kinds of snakes (yes some poisoness), all kinds of lizards...................About everything...lol.
It's been a while but a medium size iguana we sold for like $49-$79. The aquarim (75 Gallon) depending on what type he has can range from $400-$700 and the other stuff that goes along with it all will run about $75-$100. I don't know what the current market values would be but I would not think that $250 OBO is bad.
Just make sure that who ever buys it is aware that Iguana's do eat some live but not much. They need the protien so a constant diet of just fruit is not good for them. They do sell an iguana food. They are for the most part easy to take care of. Just trim their nails and control the tail!!!( don't hold tight or pull....it will come off!). Their bite isn't shit compared to a slice from a sharp toe nail.
When my boys get a little older I am going to get them a neat pet like this. but they are just not old enough yet.
