Well most of you have seen this car sitting at Dayton Performance for a few weeks. I've been dying to get back into a Mustang and Mike made me a deal on it I couldn't pass up. :bigthumb
Plated layed down the paint and added a nice subtle ghost flame to it also. The pervious owner decided not to have the engine bay done, so it'll be back up to Chris for the finishing touches. While it's a roller, we're going to touch up any spots on the undercarriage and repaint it aswell.
The idea for this car is to showcase what a super clean SN95 can become. The rest of you have proven what kind of power comes out of Dayton Performance!

Plans are to build a super clean street car. Really going to focus on every aspect, and not short change of skip anything.
The body is finished, next will be the undercarriage and engine bay. Painted to match the body, and going to hide and tuck everything I can. Custom set of Dayton Perfomance valve cover are a must too! I'll keep the stock SN95 dash, but will do a 04 Cobra interior. The black on black seat FTW! Kicking around ideas for wheels, but I don't think a set of chrome Saleens can be beat.
The drive train will be a stock 5.0 motor at first, but as time and money allow I'll build that up too. Nothing crazy, but a good sounding, huge cam, 5.0 with goals set on ~350rwhp. No doubt the car will hit the track, but only for fun. :bigthumb
sounds like it will be mean for sure. and I agree with the wheels. five spokes are almost a must for SN95s IMO. and the chrome would look great with your paint.
good luck with it!

Paint has some over spray on it, and the clear coat has quite a bit of contaminates in it too. So far I've clay barred the hood and it removed it all. Full detail with pictures coming soon!

Did that side start giving you fits too? Bring it by when you get it all detailed, I'd like to see how it turns out. It just was crying for some TLC.

Thansk Chris! You think I can get some touch up paint from you to match? I'd like to do the underside of the hood, engine bay, and a few spots in the wheel wells.

Next round:
Installing wiper motor and supporting parts
New E brake cables
New CAI
New carpet and sound dampering material
...and if I can find them and fit them into the budget, a set of 04 black on black Cobra seats.
