i ordered a rear wheel from a guy on a bike forum and he said it was mint condition. when it got here it had been spray painted(but painted good), nickes on the lip under the paint and it fit on my bike. it is the same style wheel but my axle is to big and wont go through the bearingsor hub bearing spacer. should i file a dispute with paypal or try to fight with him and try to get some money back and see if my year bearings will fit and work.

Did you not try contacting the guy yet? Filling a dispute with paypal seems alittle strange to me this soon.See what he has to say about it. You bought a wheel for a totally different year bike and didnt conferm if it would actually fit before purchasing it?

You only have a certain amount of days to file a dispute. I forget how many at the moment but once it passes you are screwed.

he listed it for a 05-06 gsxr1000 and said it came off an 06 and mine is an 06 and the inner bearing measures 1.00 and my axle measures 1.10. i have talked to him and he says he doesn't know why it doesnt fit because he has used it on his 06.

so is his a 600 or 750? Either way it doesnt work for you. If you only have a certain amount of time to file with paypal you should go ahead and do it.

You have at least 30 days. Talk to the guy first. Fit and condition are two different issues. If the condition is not as described, he needs to make it right. If you bought it and didn't do your "due dilligence" and want him to take a loss due to your lack of forethought, well then that would make you a dick. I'm sure your not a dick...so don't make a dick move. :bigthumb

Good luck!

i think the 750's are the same as 1000's.

Good luck with paypal. I tried once and lost with a guy on mach1registry by the name of ls1killa

He put up for sale a 28 spline traction lock with 4.30 gears. I recieved a 31 spline traction lock with 3.55 gears. I contacted him back to tell him he must have mixed the parts up to which he told me he did not mix the parts and proceeded to tell me I was too stupid to know the differrence. I posted pictures of the parts on mach1registry to show everyone exactly what they were. Everyone agreed they were 3.55's and a 31 spline carrier. I filed a dispute with paypal, paypal told me he said it was right so you got what you paid for case closed. I had a discussion with with paypal about my business, I said so someone can order a $1000 converter and I can ship them a core and nothing can be done about it, they said as long as it wasn't purchased on ebay. I closed my account. I did later open another but i still don't like it. Paypal is only good for ebay.
