This car belongs to a good buddy of mine. He is on here, but he doesn't get on much so I thought I would start a project thread for him. The car is a very clean 93 GT that he has owned for almost 10 years now. When I first saw the car it had 17in Cobra R's and was just a stock bottom end h/c/i car, and was his daily driver. Since then it has become a pretty radical street/strip car. Last year at Kilkare it went 10.20s leaving off idle with a stock block 347, Novi 2000 and a PA C4. He is in the process of making some big changes to the car and it should be back out on the steets again soon. Over the Winter he bought a Fox Lake 363in Dart Iron Eagle short block with CP pistons and Oliver billet rods. I forget what kind of crank. He also bought a set of Trickflow R heads and a custom 55mm cam. As of right now the Novi 2000 is going back on, but he is thinking about getting a YSI or a Novi 2500. Here are some pics from today. We got the engine in and started fitting the headers. The next step is to bolt everything down and start plumbing the rest of the fuel system. This thing should make some pretty nasty numbers on the dyno! I can't wait to go for a ride! Next time I'm over there I will get some more pics.
