I picked up another project recently. It is a 1990 GT. Factory two tone titanium with titanium interior. Always been a color combo I really liked. The car is in need of paint but is very straight and wont take much work at all to slick up. Overall it is in good shape and wont take much work to make it a great car, inside and out. The car has sat for about 5 years and the sale was finally forced due to his 4th child being born soon. The guy I bought it from has owned it since 96. He bought if from his brother who bought it in 92. They did all the work to it around 2000-2002. Here is its current mods list. All have about 15,000 miles on them now.

Engine:
306
Aluminum GT40X heads
FMS 1.6 Roller Rockers
FMS E-303 Cam
FMS Cobra Intake
BBK Throttle Body
C&L 73mm Mass Air Meter
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
FMS 24 LBS Injectors

Transmission:
D&D 2.95 T5
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Hurst Shifter
FMS Aluminum Drive Shaft

Exhaust:
FMS Shorty headers
Off Road H-pipe
Dynomax 2.5 Cat back

Rearend:
3.55 gears

Suspension:
Kenny Brown Subframe connectors
Kenny Brown G-load Brace
Kenny Brown Strut Tower Brace

Power Adder:
Powerdyne BD10 with 9lbs pulley
Paxton inlet set up to move mass air and filter into the fender

Interior:
All stock except a 5 " tach and 2 5/8 Boost gauge

Thats a basic run down. I know it has some other things but I cant think of them all right now. Its a great start so far. Right now I am replacing all the vacuum lines and eliminating all the smog junk. Probably throw some suspension under it with a 5 lug swap. Just want to get it road ready as a reliable driver right now. It will get faster and pretier over time ;)

Pictures to come :bigthumb

I will work my mojo and make something out of it. I have somewhat of a vision of what I'm going to do. Something like this .....

Looks like a great little project. Sounds like it doesn't need much at all to be a runner.

Good luck with your project.

Thanks everybody. I am stock piling parts right now. Probably trade around and get rid of some old stuff for different parts for this car. Have to keep the budget in check! I am now thinking about painting it all one color. Some type of platinum color. Something nobody else has. The wheels JIMS SVT has a definite possibility, its just a matter of when I can make that 2.5 hour drive . I will keep it in mind for sure though.

Got a little work done yesterday. Did a tune up and redid a few things the previous owner did. Removed the smog parts. I still have to drill and tap the smog pump eliminator bracket so the alternator relocation bracket can attach. Replaced old brittle vacuum lines also. It should be back on the road tomorrow. I have to check timing and fuel pressure and all that too. The car sat for about 5 years so I'm going to go ahead and change the fuel filter and run a tank of 100 octane unleaded through it! If nothing else it will smell good running!

Congratulations for stiffening the chassis. Too many people overlook it. :bigthumb

Thats always been one of the first things I do to all the Mustangs I have had. My brother always put complete Kenny Brown kits under all of his when I was younger so I figured it must be needed! I actually did all the suspension on my coupe before I ever even put exhaust or anything on it. 40,000 miles later it is still rattle free and tight

A little update on my "Project Car" ........ I have come to realize I don't have the extra time to work on this car like I wanted to. So I haven't got a ton done. I did get it pretty well dialed in. It runs really well now and feels pretty stout. I threw a set of Pony wheels on it and a set of LX Taillights I had lying around. That helped a ton. I haven't done much under the hood except a radiator cover we made and replaced all the OEM covers it was lacking ( Distributor cover, Coil cover & Wiper Motor cover). I have a set of UPR camber plates , lowering springs , driveshaft loop .............. and a few other parts for it. Just no time. Here are some pics thus far
