View Full Version : trade 2001 mineral gray gt vert
2001 mineral gray gt convertible. 109000 miles. New tires. The car is stock. A few of you have seen it and its a very nice clean car. Clear title. Top is in very nice shape. Everything works. Runs very smooth and goes into all the gears without grinding. mach sound. Leather is in very nice shape with a slight wear spot on the drivers side bolster. Its not bad at all and it more of a discoleration than anything. When I got it it had a slight tic tic. It turned out to be a very loose plug with a bad boot. I replaced the boot and put the plug back in and have put a couple hundred miles on it since the problem. The tic sound is gone and it has no issues. I love the car but I just cant seem to get into driving it. I would like to see if there are any trades out there. I really like the old hot rods but if you have any trade ideas let me know. Not really looking to sell out right but feel free to make an offer if you want to. The trade has to be straight trade. I am not putting cash with it.... I dont have any lol
your welcome to have the car checked out. It has no problems. I drive it every day if its nice.

Dayton Freight is always hiring. If you can drive a fork lift they are paying like 16 an hour. Their is a location in Sharonville.
I have never been on a forklift. I am sure I could learn pretty fast though. Every place I see wants you to have experience and they want you to be certified? Im 38 but no one want to train any one any more. I would love to have a job like that.

They will train you. No prior experience needed. They just want people who will show up and do a good job and have common sense.

It is a part time job, but they tend to move you to full time quickly if you do a good job. Part time is 5-6 hours a day.
Thank you. All the fork lift things I saw said you had to be certified though. If they are paying 16 an hour for part time help. 25 hours a week would pay my bills. Do you know someone? I am guessing you work there?
also.... Bump for trades. This is a very nice car and if by some mericle I find a job and dont get thrown out of my home I may keep it.. lol Sooo if you have a trade offer let me know.

Mason Bob Evans is hiring in Kings Mills, if you know or are willing to learn how to cook....
cool. I hope to be delivering pizza for marcos soon. I may check out the bob evans thing too though. I am more of a server than a cook though.
Bump on the trade too. My car and if the right trade comes along I may throw in my hondafl350R odyssey off road buggy. Needs to be something nice though. The odyssey is worth a few thousand.

Cooks make more money. :-)
Maybe some server too, but hours would be less.
Bump for you...
Built fox? Maybe a coupe?
I am employed! No longer for sale. I'm keeping it. I think some of plateds ghost flames would look good on mineral gray.

Congrats.....
thank you. Now that I have a job maybe i can drive it without watching the gas gauge and wounering how I was going to afford to put gas in it again so i could drive it again. Plans for the car are back on for the shifter, lowering, 4:11 gears, EXHAUST, cai, talk to plated and see what he thinks about some grayish ghost flames. Doesnt have to be in that order. Then who knows. Or itll be for sale next week... lol

Well we have a beefcake jr here........ Lol
Sorry I couldnt resist.
I doubt I will do it. Being an 85, I'm not real fond of carbed or four eyes. But it is a coupe and a turbo.... I like that.

I'm not found of the carb either. My old black coupe with a carb was a royal bitch in anything but 85* plus days.
But she would run after she warmed up.
I never really disliked carbed cars. My hillbilly is carbed and no problems but as a nice day toy/ daily driver I dont think a carbed car is what I want.

I agree with you on that. I have no disrespect for them, its just the one I had did not leave a good impression.
Ive never had one that didnt smell like fumes in the car. Of course that can be chalked up to old hot rods with exhaust that stopped under you or had leaks... My nova made me very sleepy for the first month or so, until I developed a tolerance for the fumes.. lol
