So I took my car to the exhaust shop a while ago with 2 flowmasters. For 50 bucks he welded them onto a brand new bbk hpipe and I looked at my mufflers yesterday and on the back of one muffler I read "inlet". Are you fucking serious. A exhaust shop owner did this... There is litarley no excuse for somthing like that. And on a side note is this bad for my motor?

Why would you weld mufflers to a BBK H-pipe. You would have to weld them to the Flowtubes that bolt to the H-pipe.

Maybe they just wanted to allow the exhaust to evacuate that much quicker.. HaHa

I figured a owner of an exhaust business would have done it correctly. I wasnt happy when he welded the flow tubes to my h pipe either, then to figure out he put a muffler on backwards and it says inlet on the muffler, holy shit lol

You would be amazed at what some shops do on exhaust work .I have seen were people have tried to weld a exhaust pipe right to a cast manifold . I have been at it since 93 and have seen just about everything you can think of . There is no excuse for anyone to put a weld at a ball flare its just plain stupidity as well as putting a directional muffler on backwards as well . He may have a lacky who did the work most exhaust shops tend not pay help very well so the customers often suffer .

I went up there and they didn't have much to say lol they said they'd fix it tomorrow so we will see.
And I ended up trading my coupe with that motor in it the water pump didn't seal cause of the block but it sounded good lol

One of the bolt holes for the water pump was chipped off so one bolt didn't thread in and the water pump wouldn't seal.
