Coming home this morning down Beechmont, several lights flashing red. I get to about the third one and some jackhole about busts me in the rear, had it all crossed up trying to stop, pulls up next to me at the light that was working and starts flipping me off and telling me what a dumb mf'r I was for stopping at a obvious malfunctioning light. Am I just dumb or does anyone else remember a flashing red light becomes a FOUR WAY STOP!!!!!! I told him to go f himself and go back to driving school.

Coming home this morning down Beechmont,
Just stop right there. You needn't say anything else beyond this phrase. Simply driving down Beechmont at any time of any day is like traffic suicide. I swear the further into Anderson you get the more stupid drivers get. It's not until you get well onto the other side of 275 that it clears up a little. Once you get down past Target down Beechmont, all bets are off and you're lucky to escape with your life.
I totaled my old '88 Bronco II down there when some retard pulled out into traffic from Olive Garden right in front of me going 40mph...i NAILED him right in the side and was lucky neither me or my son got hurt.
You've gotta be totally white knuckled and on high alert driving down there.

Umm... you run into those a-holes anywhere on Beechmont. From Mt. Washington to Amelia. The biggest problem I notice is no one can seem to drive faster than 30 mph.

Yeah they just seem to all flock to that general side of town. Towards Amelia at least the stores thin out which cuts down on that "do i turn heeeere, or here or here or here or here..." people who take forever to turn.
Personally my favorite is Mikes Carwash. Sometime when you get bored, park somewhere that you can watch people leave that place, and watch all the idiots flooring it and power sliding out on wet tires. Its priceless (though i will admit i have been this idiot a time or two lol).

Everyone nows tire shine has half the friction coefficient of chlorine bleach, just add water and its gauranteed good times.

It amazes me how people make up their own rules on a signal light out of service. You are correct. They (WE in OHIO) all need to go back to driving school. This is a problem I have with Ohio state DL issuance. It should be a requirement that a written test be mandatory every other renewal. I am so sick and tired of the ignorance generated by people thinking they know the current laws and regulations for driving simply because they can pass an eye exam and pay a renewal fee.
So its a freaking inconvenience to have to brush up on current traffic safety laws and regulations for 20 minutes before taking a written test. At least people would be more aware which could make things like approaching an out of service traffic signal safer. Currently it seems the only people know is "click it or ticket" and a yellow light means go damn fast!.
Indiana used to require passing a written test every time you renewed. Then they changed it so that you only had to take the written test every other renewal IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A TICKET DURING YOUR PREVIOUS LICENSE RETENTION. Don't know if they require this now or not. California required a written 50 question test be taken after so many renewals regardless. Seems it was every 10 years of continued driving with no suspensions when I lived out there.
Many will think I have lost my mind suggesting this, but I myself put 3-4K per month on a service vehicle in travel and see this kind of crap in OH, IN, MI, IL,TN, IN, KY, NC, NY. PA all the time. It seems worst however when driving in OH, or TN. I can only imagine how happy this would make CDL holders who see a lot more windshield time than I do.
It is time to instate a written test requirement policy for license renewal.

I had to stop at a flashing red 4 way yesterday...i stopped, and right as a did, some lady came through at full speed, didn't stop didn't hesitate, nothing, on her cell phone, and ran a flashing red light. I swear some days i wish i had lights and sirens on my car just so i could pull someone over to tell them how stupid they are.

My Civic got totaled lasted year in Fairfield, power was out, I stopped, the illegal didn't.
I bought a newer (SAFER!) Accord this time due to the idiots out there, I drive Beechmont 6 days a week. Now that I come from Batavia I've been coming across Eight Mile to get to 125.
I also stop at non working lights...unless you can't see them. I went through one last night on Kellogg. The Metro bus I was following didn't stop either.

Not seeing one is one thing, of course people should be aware of their surroundings, but blowing thru one because you don't know better then become a a@@ hat because I know the law. Unacceptable.

Im another one that feels Anderson drivers need to stay the fuck at home. We moved out here about 2 years ago and ever since day one Ive wanted to move back out to Clermont County. Ive never in my life seen so many non driving fucks in one location.
