I was looking for some stuff for my wifes 2011 Mazda 3 and stumbled across this. Thought you guys might get a laugh out of it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLUE-OEM-SHORT-RAM-COLD-AIR-TURBO-FAN-INTAKE-GAS-SAVER-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZYearQ3a2010Q7cMakeQ3aMazda Q7cModelQ3a3QQhashZitem2a10b82088QQitemZ1806691288 40QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

What kills me is people probably buy this and think it works.... The fan doesn't blow in more air cause it is powered by the air that your car is already sucking in. If anything it will spiral the air which it probably doesn't even do that. Only way I'd buy it is if I drove a riced out Honda...... :D Cracks me up. Add this mod along with the thing you put in your exhaust to make turbo noises and you got a solid 50 whp gain lol

I've never believed those but i like researching stuff and this one was interesting, just seeing the different things people had to say about them good and bad..... this is what consumer report says... not that they are anybody but the most reliable i could find.

There are so many crazy things like that on ebay like putting a magnet around your fuel line http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Best-Magnetic-Fuel-Saver-ALL-Cars-amd-Trucks-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem2311666f21QQitemZ15061 5781153QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries

They probably make money off of it because people are to ignorant to know that difference. So they are like hmmm must work. The people making it act so confident that it works that it makes other believe it might actually work.

I've heard of magnets around your oil filter, which have been shown to help trap metal particles, but never on a fuel line. I'm pretty sure one of the Mustang mags tested that intake tornado thing and showed it actually hurt power. They also tested a thing you put in carb breathers that's supposed to channel air into the carb better and it made no difference.

Imagine the improvement with the addition of an intercooler.

Imagine the improvement with the addition of an intercooler.

I've seen this come up on every car forum i've ever been on, several times. Some people just don't get it.

My old man had one of those tornados for his escape and he swore that it gave him more power. Now he has a ranger running those e3 Sparkplugs, which are espensive as charlie sheens hookers, and I doubt he's gettting better gas mileage. lots of horror stories online about them though his seem to be fine.

Also Coupe that last picture made me :eek1:
