dayton performance's new two tone paint job (renegade car) with pics

ok i flipped the script on the almighty two tone paint sceme,mike bell of dayton peformance dropped his renegade car off for some kind of flashy advertising kinda paintjob for his buisness and gave me the green light on a surprise me paint job:evilflip: here's just a couple sneak peek pics as i go along i'm waiting to get with blackhorse on some big (dayton performance)logo's thats going to be all over the car,hope you dig mike the magazine guy's and photogrophers will be all over it.i'll post pics with logo's and clearcoat in the next couple days,this is just basecoat and kandy's pearls and what ever i felt like doing in the art room that day FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, this is a totally different car. He built the car for renegade, wow something coming close to 10 years ago if I remember right. He's had the car at his shop ever since I've known him and he decided to put it back together and has been slowly working on it as a side project for a while now. It has had a TON of chassis work done with lots of goodies and a new cage. I don't know all the particulars but it will be very nicely put together.

You, sir, are correct. This is NOT my r/s car, it is still black and beautiful, and sitting here at my shop. This is my old red/orange coupe that I campaigned in renegade when I could still run a stick. It's been sitting forever and I finally got inspired about 2 years ago to get started on it again. Engine has been together for 6 years, so has the M2 trans. Everything is ready to go into it, including a 9" rear from moser. 353 with all billet stuff and CP pistons, custom cam, etc. Fogger on it like it was before. If we get it back and the cage gets finished quickly, then we might make it to Cbus for the NMRA race there.
