When I bought my F150 it only had one key and remote. I remeber seeing in the owners manual you can program new keys yourself. So I bought 2 more new keys today only to come home and read the manual again today and you need both original keys in order to do this. Can someone hook me up with another way to program?

im pretty sure u have to go to the dealer. i dont think this is something you can do at home.

some are different but most you need 2 programed keys to make extra yourself. If you only have one they can program the 2nd with the dealer tester.

Yeah Tim thats what I found out. I knew I had seen something skimming through the manual about programming keys but didnt read it all the way until yesterday once I had bought the new ones. The dealer wanted $100 to program them. Sorry thats just a little rediculous.
