4.6 intake

I have a 97 cobra intake for a 4.6,,, I have a 08 4.6 without a intake,, can i use the 97 intake on the 08 motor,,, realize i might need a tune,, thought bout taking the gasket and seeing if they match, but right now the engine and the intake are a hour apart lol.. SO just thinking, and wondering, is it possible

08 3v motor and 97 4v motor, I highly doubt it will work at all but you never know until you try.

ok, so i need to stop posting when I am half awake,, i have a 97 4.6 2v not a 4v... and i have a 08 4.6 3v out of a shelby that had a supercharger on it.. Do not have the funds for the supercharger at the moment,, looks like i be selling the 97 intake stuff

If it is a 97 original plastic crossover intake just save yourself the aggrivation and toss it in the trash where it belongs. They were under class action lawsuit. If it has been replaced with the aluminum crossover you will probably make a few bucks on ebay.
