Well i had a run to change a tire on the interstate , once i was finished i recieved a call from my mom . Somebody hit my car in front of my house and shoved it into the car in front of it and then into the front yard. Good thing is that nobody was hurt , but the guy was drinking and driving along with texting . Looks like my project will be on hold for a minute , i dont think it can be fixed without it being totaled.

Wow, that friggin sucks. Let me guess, he didn't have insurance and probably didn't even get cited? I had an incident similar to this happen to me some years back, still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Damn man, at least you weren't in it. It can probably be fixed but may not be worth the hassle...just find another roller. It sucks because you probably won't get jack from his insurance.

BOOOOO! I hate this kinda shit. A man works his ass off for and on something, and it only takes a second for some asshat to take it all away. Good luck man, hope you come out ahead. My car has full coverage on it, it was only $8 more a month for it. So at this ont, it's worth more wrecked than driving lmao...

Billy, just get on that insurance man first thing monday morning. Get that money and you'll get another stang. At least no one was hurt, but it does suck that every car he hit was in your family.

I hate to hear that but hopefully it will work out and get you decent money and get to keep the car to insurance companys usaly will let you keep the cars for few hundred less so they dont have to deal with towing them and getting rid of them. I was lucky about a month ago was on my way home from work on 32 in mt carmel and got hit in rear at a red light thought my 93 coupe was going to be hurt but suprizing it didnt hurt it at all and old lady hit me hard shoved me up about 10 ft neck was sore for couple days but just glad it didnt hurt a nice solid coupe

I would start to pull comps on cars like yours to present to insurance company. So you are not spending money out of your pocket to get another stang on the road. They use Nada and Kbb to justify there offer.

Is matt J selling a nice roller??
mad max
08-01-2011, 04:41 PM
I looked up the value on kbb and i priced my car in the fair range with the price being in the 1900 dollar range. Excellent blue book value is 2400 and some change. We all know that a nice fox cannot be bought for 2400 dollars. With that said , the insurance company made an offer of 2477.36 and if i want to keep the car subtract 200 dollars. So i made the decision to keep the car and the check is hopefully in the mail. Im at ends on what to do next though , I had a 93 cobra and had plans to make a clone with this car. I have everything to do that (minus the side skirts). I have a friend who i think knows of every 93 cobra for sale in the nation. He has found me a few in the 6-7k dollar range . I dont know if i wanna save the rest of the money and buy a real one or build a clone .

Mwoods26 - I think we would both be old and gray before i could scrape that kinda of money together .You have a beautiful car and deserve every penny it brings. Willyb93 on the cobra registry is helping me out on finding one. I talked to the guy in phoneix and made an offer ,waiting to hear back from him.

When you said you had a friend that knew of every 93 cobra for sale in the country I knew right away you were talking about willyb. I watch the 93 cobra market very very close but willyb is on top of it like no other. The black car in AZ looks very solid for the price. if it were closer I would probly already own it. I hope that one works out for you.

yeah , i crack jokes at him all the time if thats his job , because i have never seen anybody on anything like he is on that market.

Yes I remember. I made the mistake of letting you know how much I stole it for when I bought it!! I have been debating getting rid of it for a month or so now. My Comp Orange 04 Cobra ruined me and I have been in the market for another since the day after I traded it in. I put the teal on CL for 12,500 knowing that was too much just to see if I would get a bite and didnt get a single email. not even from a scammer!. I will have to get around 11 for it to let it go. The car could be bought for a little more or a little less depending on what all goes with it in the deal but Im not in a must sell situation. I still love the car but everything is for sale:bigthumb
