is there a port in the lower intake of an explorer that would leak exhaust near the center of the lower and if so what do u use to plug it
this is a explorer intake on a stock 5.0 ho

Several ports under there. If you do not have a vacuum line hooked to it, it should be blocked off.

this is on the throttle body side hot exhaust is there a external egr port its not a vacuum leak

separated intake tonight found egr port open now how to plug it the upper has a space between the first 4 runners and the back 4 egr port was blowing straight up to the bottom of the upper any ideas

Find a core plug to fit the hole. I know what hole you are talking about it is about 3/4" hole. Take a trip to Napa. The Explorer had EGR piped off the Exhaust manifold. You must have a real gt40 lower or Cobra lower with Explorer upper intake.
