One of the guys I race with from TX in the JDM Super Stang Class will not be able to trailer his car up from TX for the Columbus race.

He asked if I knew anyone that might have a car he can use.

It's bracket racing, so he would prefer an auto.

It doesn't have to be fast, could even be a v6 as long as it runs 14.50.

It just has to be legal safety wise for whatever e.t. it runs.

I told him i'd ask around.

Race is 1st weekend of sep. the 1st/2nd through the 4th

No doubt. I dont really like to let my friends use my cars so Im sure as hell not going to let somebody I dont know go drag race one of them. I cant belive somebody would have the nerve to ask. If it were me and couldnt trailor my car up to the race I guess I wouldnt be racing.

Nope, she's still on Ebay as a whole right now. Came oh so close to a sale, but I think it was just some punk kid playing on Ebay.

I didn't really get into that too much other than he said to see if anyone had a car.

If someone did, they could work out the particulars. Again, it doesn't have to be a rocket ship or anything, a 14.50 car would do just fine.

do it as a buy it now or best offer. auction style suck, if you have a serious buyer, they'll make an offer or call you and make an offer

Simple you have a car loan it to him for the event, split any winnings 50/50, and if anything breaks he pays to fix it. About as simple as any loaner car works. That is what I would suggest to anyone IF they have a car to loan him or are interested in loaning him.

Otherwords, I loan him my 06 that runs low 13 or high 12 and I could possible NOT get a dime out of it. Yeah, like that is going to happen.

Or, maybe you get a couple hundred bucks, and your car in 1 to 3 major magazines........

But you are correct, no guarantees

What the heck is the difference if someone has a rental or a borrowed car? Either way the drive is collecting point in a car he doesn't own.

The rules state "rentals" are not allowed. Just the way the rules read. I didn't right em, lol!

I think in all honesty, that rule was put there to keep SD Wheeler out of the class.
