While at Jegs a couple of weeks ago I saw Mothers has a new product out Called R3. It is to help get rubber off of a car after racing/burnouts. Picked some up for like 8 bucks. I finally used it yesterday and I have to say I really liked it. I wanted to get the rubber off before I was and wax the car and it did just hat it says it will do. I had a couple of spots that had been on the car fro a while and didnt want to come off and the R3 cleaner broke it lose. I give the stuff a big :bigthumb

I wonder how different it is than something like Goof Off? I'm not sure if that stuff is ok to use on paint. I still have rubber on the rear quarters of my Crown Vic from the spring cruise in at Edgewater :lol:

I thought you used a torch to removed rubber from the qtrs... It WILL get rid of anything on the metal.... and the metal too :)

Any chance you think it will work on pine tree sap??
