Those work well as do the the cork w/ the metal insert rings where the bolts go through them, they prevent you from over torking them.

Had time to get out there today and every last one of the bolts were not even finger tight,, How tight should ya get them ? THought I would try tightening them down first,,,

They just need to be snug, do not over tighten them, start with the center lower and work your way out.

X2. I love those gaskets. Craig usually has them on the shelf to. But I have just re-used the ones I got from him last year.
I will need another set for my truck though, well worth the money.

Got to the parts store and order gaskets for a 302 Explorer. They're silicone with a metal core and are pretty much good for life unless you somehow damage them. They make installing valve covers even easier than it already is. Don't ever waste your time on straight silicone/rubber gaskets..they're a nightmare.
