I found a cheap 351 from an old ford truck with one of the rods knocking.
He claims its a winsor. How hard would it be to rebuild one of these or should I just run from it?

Windor as about as common as you can get. Plenty of parts available. Its the same basic small block as the 302. If he is giving it to you it is a good deal!

Not giving it to me but I'm paying him a little bit more than what its worth at scrap price

Get it and have fun, tons of parts and these engines can make good power. Build you a 408W.

A basic heads/cam/intake 351w will easily run mid 11's. They have great street manners and are a blast to drive.
