Clutch Question

So I was driving down the highway and put up into 3rd. It looked as if it were in gear but it wasn't and grinded. Since then my clutch has been slipping anytime I try toget on it or on hills. The clutch has roughly around 6k miles on it ... think I need to replace it ?

You probably just need to adjust it. Do you have a stock quadrant or aftermarket unit?

I have an aftermarket Quadrant. To kind of help with more of what it is doing When I get on it it will usually slip and i hear a loud chattering noise.
