I am going to go ahead and have a set of wheels built for my coupe by a company called Rushforth. They are very well known in the Pro-Touring world and make a nice set of wheels. I will be ordering 18x7s and 18x9s staggered fitment in full polished. My question to the wide wide world of Stangbangerz is which would you chose? I have it narrowed down to 3 right now but am interested in what you guys would pick. Here is the car getting the wheels.....

Coilovers all around so it will be in the weeds and 13" Mach One brakes will complete the package

Here is a link to their options

Live wire, night train, battery in that order.

I don't really like any of them, but if I had to pick, I would choose either Battery, Fuel or Live wire

About $500 a wheel. I have a couple other companies I am looking at also but there aren't many in that price point that will build them specifically for the car .

Night train or live wire, on a coin flip. Battery wouldn't be bad if every flippin Mustang didn't already have 5 spoke wheels on them!

and honestly if your gonna take the time and money to order a custom wheel id narrow your rearend and get a little bit more lip out back

Thats an option but I will more than likely have them figure them to have the biggest lip possible without any modification so they could potentially be bolted on other cars. I have an extra rearend I could narrow though. The budget determines all!

Some mesh wheels are an option also. Most I have found are out of my "budget"

Like these also

Did you ever get a price on the livewires. If they are the 3 piece where you could just unbolt the centers I could powder them a different color every month when I get bored with them:lol:

Id go with the Livewires too. You can fit a 10" on the rear, pitbull1052 on here has 18x10's on his GT and had them on his LX with no problems.

x2 on the 10's you'll be much happier and it'll spread a 275 out nicely..... I'd go for the one's without the chrome in the middle but i hate cleaning rims everyother day........

I'm not doing 10s because I am not "massaging" the wheel well or rolling the wheel lip. The owner of Rushforth thinks a 9.375 width is going to be perfect with no mods

HaHa Thanks guys. The car has basically looked like this since 03 when we painted it. Thats why I am so sick of these wheels! Changing them and a few other things will get me a little more interested in it again. I have only driven it once this year and that was from one garage to another to be stored.

Battery and Livewire!! I would really really like the Whiplash if the gaps in the spokes went down further to the middle of the wheel.

I double checked last night and none of my fenders are rolled and my tires don't rub or stick out..........
