I am looking at a new set of wheels Tenzo R Type M. I was wondering if someone could tell if these would be sticking out of the fenders (19x8.5 +17mm, 19x10 +22mm)? I want something machined and mesh style, I am tired of chrome and they weigh so much more. What do you guys think?

were they bought for another car with the same bolt pattern...if it's for and older mustang (94-04) the offset will make them stick out pretty far from what i heard. i know the 06 mustang wheels sit in on 94-04 stangs

It depends fully on the rim width and in some cases the way the wheel is MFRD in my findings. I currntly have two snow tires 245/45/17's on 02 bullit rims and while they set out a little more than the 05 exquiv bullet rim, they dont 'look Joe Dirt". IOW they aren't hanging out from under the wheel wheel. Verify with the seller what they came off of get make model and contact a distributor for the appropriate back spacing and offset for the make/model rim and you should be okay as long as you are not being told different by the seller on the specs. Good luck. Personally I would not buy from a person unless they were someone you knew and trusted. I have had luck buying from a person on this site (blowncobra is a great guy) with regard to wheels, but you must be cautious and CYB on any used item!!! I have also purchased tires used on here and they were as described. Can't remember guys name but he was also a stand up guy as well. Works at Tire Discounters in Batavia or did. Bought rotors from Beefcake and had no issues with them either. They came off his 2010 and had 400 moiles on them. He was also fair. Hope to see you around town.

Yeah they will hang out, the correct off set for an s197 should be around 40 mm on a 10" wide rim.
