i've got this 357 engine that has only been on the dyno and run for an hour or so in my garage.
here's my problem, this engine ran extremly rich during its short life, ive heard the term washed out the cylinder walls b4,heard it but don't quite understand it,i want to sell this motor, but don't want to if its hurt its now out the car because there is a new bullet for that space,it ran as far as pressures are concerned good, but just couldnt get it tune mbr the thread motor wont tune.
bottom line what do you think, bout maybe me having ruined the cylinder bores

Who put it together? I don't see how the engine running rich would have anything to do with the internals of the engine itself. Unless I'm not understanding your post and you're actually saying that it running rich caused something to go wrong with the engine itself.

He's saying that he thought is was potenially so rich that the excess fuel washed the cylinder walls of the oil film and damaged the bores. It happens, and is not uncommon.
For the OP, if you can, do a compression test on it. If you get nice even compression on all cylinders, I'd sell it with confidence that there's no damage.

Do a compression and leak down test on every cylinder and consult with the builder. I have seen engines wash the rings due to being way too rich but what do you consider too rich?

oh yea compression test wise,me and some shine got confused and started to prep it for removal so,i'd have to put it back together ,oh my,but that has crossed my mind

Just secure the engine on a stand, bolt a starter to it, jump the starter from a battery and do the comp test.

you could still do a leakdown test

I had a fpr pop and it washed out the cylinders and bearings in my 4x4 ranger. It was caused by a pinched return line. Damn the luck, screw it! I drove that thing for over a year like that, and it was a blast! lol...
