Is there any reason i shouldn't do this? I need another large port for PCV, the only one i have is on my carb base plate and that's for the brake booster. Or, is it unsafe to run a T fitting out the back of the base plate and run both off a single port? I don't have enough hood clearance to run a spacer with a vacuum port.

You can run both vacuum lines off of that, it may draw a little vacuum from the power brakes but shouldn't be to much of an issue depending on the cam.

You can run both vacuum lines off of that or there is usually a separate vaccum port off the intake that you can run the PCV.

Call the SHop!!

Well, the cam might be an issue then. So far it hasn't shown to hurt braking but i don't know about splitting the vacuum.

Try it, you may be alright, that cam has a tighter lobe separation than some.
If it does not work it is easily put back the way it was before and then you go another route.

Well the intake is already off so i'll probably just do it now while it's off and save myself the work. I can always plug it if i don't need it.

Let me know how it works out for you.

I'm gonna drill into the plenum just below where the carb mounts on the back side instead of going into one of the runners.
