i'm posting this question for my friend,he has a '97 gt that started really pouring anti-freeze from the rear of the motor,he was out at the store and did make it back home without it showing hot on the gauge, about 3 miles, but he says its coming out really good.
what might have gone wrong,or broke for this to be happening

thanx in advance

If i had to guess i would say the plastic coolant crossover on the front of the intake manifold cracked. it would leak down in to the valley and out the back of the block making it appear that it is coming from somewhere in the rear. have him look down behind the alternator in to the valley and see if it is full of coolant, if it is i'd say that is the problem.

[QUOTE=blown96cobra;671970]Yep x2.......or there's a plastic nipple that feeds into the heater core hoses and those are prone to get soft and crack as well
