Details on your setup would help. If your running stock heads or gt40,gt40p heads the cobra/explorer intakes add a nice kick in the ass. If you have a good set of tfs or afr heads the Holley systemax intake is baaaaaad. Just depends on your setup.

Trickflow street heat, Edelbrock performer, Cobra/GT40 any of these are great street intakes.

I am guessing you are new to the 5.0 scene. I would recommend looking over all the build threads on this site and over at corral.net. Do some research and decide what your goal is for the car and build accordingly.

You will get plenty of imput on what is out there, but first you need to decide what your goal is...trust me it will save you a lot of money and time in the long run.

Save the money for a turbo kit.

I agree with saving money for the turbo, but you can pick up an Explorer 5.0 intake, which is basically the same as a GT40/Cobra intake for less than $100.00.

I picked up mine for $65 shipped. It wont make quite as much as the TFS or the RPM/2, but it's a big improvement over the stock stuff.
