Rain + inner fender filter + no inner fender liners =
Needless to say I Googled a set and came up with 2 VERY different prices. ~$20 for the pair from partsgeek, and ~$80 from LMR. Gotta love Google! :cool1:
No wipers until today either. Ordered an new wiper motor and it came in today.

Yikes, that's a scary sitimation.
I'm quiet fine with the rain as long as I don't have to wrench on anything in it

I hear you! I was about 1/2 way home when it started to really rain. I was just like come baby, just a few more miles. When I pulled into the garage and shut the car down it sounded like someone dumped a bucket of water on the floor!

My buddie and his wife trashed a forged 4.6 bottom end in an 02 supercharged GT from this very situation. She tried driving through a flooded road outside of town, and it kept stalling. So what does he do? He fires it up, starts hammering gears and plows through it fast as he could. Had a Probe rod twisted like a candy cane.

Yep the guy i sold my supercharged 96 did the same thing, plowed through a puddle and sucked water up the boost pipe. Trashed the supercharger and the stroked modular shortblock. I got a call from the guys insurance co right after it happened wanting me to verify the parts there were in the motor.

Ouch.... Thats gotta hurt... Anytime I see big puddles I idle through em. Even though my car doesnt have a Cold Air Intake, just force of habit I guess.
