I want to hook my Nitrous burying up as the right side horn button on my wheel but before i go and take the wheel apart. Is it safe to do with the air bag in there? I wanna make sure its possible and remotely safe

I would never mess with them, you can accidentally activate it and create serious damage to yourself, get someone that has been trained with them.

Okay I didn't think I wanted to mess with one. I would think there is a way to turn it off. But I'm not sure. I know they make little things that fit onto the wheel with a button on it but I can't find them

I'm not starting it for a while i just had the idea to do it this morning. I'm too cheap to buy the shift nob with a button on it

Both horn buttons are ran on the same circut of the clock spring. Might get tricky Kev. If you ran a set of wires to the button and soldered them up, it might just work. But keeping them from tearing out on a full lock turn would suck!

I was told they were seperate from each other

Hmm, they might be, but they both do the same function, so I would think they are on the same leg. I'd look at mitchel online and see what it says before i went to cutting.

Lol true that. It was an idea. It would just be easy to hit its right there where your hand goes right after you shift

In all honesty I can do wires worth a shit so it probably won't happen at all

^^^Thats a great idea! Hell get the ashtray switch panel. I had that in my 91 GT, and LOVED it! As long as the ash tray was closed, nobody knew I even had spray.

My defog still works and I have an ashtray panel. I'll use that to arm it. I just hate wires lol

you have seen the way mines ran havent you? everything is there with the painless kit and the cig lighter still works. Although the switch for the tranny gets in the way of that a bit. lol
