For the guys that were not able to drive to either cruise, or drive during craigs shootout, here is your opportunity to drive to the track and be added.

E20 has 2 Fridays left. I think we make both Fridays count, I'm sure plenty of guys will be there with the good air to confirm times.

So, Friday 10/21 and Friday 10/28.

If for some reason, weather is bad on both days, we will shoot for a Saturday E20 during November weather permitting.

Trying to give plenty of notice to give everyone an opportunity!

Times until the tracks are officially closed will still count as long as you are confirmed on the list!

Can be verified by Maximus he even sent some emails to someone and they never responded. So I just created another screen name. I met all the require ments per the rules, drove in the street car shoot out Beekcake rembers that. I can help it that my access was messed up and when I requested some help it wasnt given the proper support from Stangebangerz team so I could make some post post. i do not "run" the dozen. I update the list.

the moderators / admins run the dozen.

this is a mustang site, the majority of us happen to own mustangs and race them. I cannot help it that my mustang isn't a 12 / 13 second car.

there is 0 conflict here. if i sold the car tomorrow, the results would be no different.

this stuff happens every year. if you want to be on the list, join and participate. it's cut and dry.

Who makes the final decision on this you? If I was going make a 2nd user name I wouldnt have waited until now.

no, if there is a time that is under discussion, the mods and admins discuss it.

i update the list per the rules.

i have no problem asking about your time.

when a new time is posted, the first thing i do is look at a post count and registration date.

with your current username just being registered and starting to be used, and your previous having 0 posts. i can only go by what i see.

There are several moderators and admins that can handle setting up a password. I regularly see posts in the moderator section where someone is asking about someone who is trying to register / get their username. or posts in the help section by a friend asking about their buddy who is trying to get on. I searched for HDNEMO and I can find no posts for any help in regards to your username

So again, I can only go by what I have seen. Not saying Bill didn't ask Craig, but their is a site section help and many mods admins

I will also point out, threats and personal attacks don't go very far. I am doing a job that NOBODY wants to do, as it constantly leads to headache and grief.

Whom did you contact? We've changed email addresses a couple of times in the last few years so I can only look back as far as Feb of this year and I dont see anything sent to webmaster@stangbangerz.com regarding your current account or the HDNEMO account? I also checked the moderators forum and see nothing mentioned there about your account. I can get both your accounts squared away, merge the accounts, using which ever name you prefer. We did have an email problem for the last few months that we were able to fix last week, but the email password reset system has been working otherwise, so you should have been able to reset your password for your original account as well.

I'm here to help.

Since I'm not a contender It doesn't affect me in any way. I think the bigger point they were trying to make is that, even if you were a 10 yr member, if you never posted or showed up to events you're not eligible.

yes, "participating member" is the wording vinny used, and specifically said, not just using the forums for selling stuff.

i welcome as many new members as possible. and that time would more than likely take the spot next year, but the posting does not warrant it for this year.

it's got nothing with me trying to stay "on top"

as soon as bills car is running again, he will bump up, and as soon as jeff gets some kind of a cruise in on his car, he will go above that.

like ricky bobby said "if your not first, your last" what difference would 3 vs 4 make to me?? 0, but, it would bump whoever is # 12 off the list, when they have participated, and been here. it's not about me, it's more about the #12 guy.

No single person makes the decision. It is a group effort any time there are questions so that there aren't any favorites being played, or someone can't try to keep someone else off the list to protect their position.

I have 0 vendetta against Tim.

All the stuff with the trailering started out as good fun and jabbing. Some people take things too serious.

The car runs great, and the car is fast. If it runs on the street and goes 8's that is very very respectable.

I post up the times for the list. It is not my final decision whom is on and off the list. As I said, when I update the list. I look at member time, post count, events, etc..

There are 0 posts for the hdnemo name, and the capri name was just registered and started posting yesterday. This does not make an active "Stangbangerz member". It just does not. So, it's out of my hands and up to the Admin and other mods. John has already stated he has not been contacted by anyone in reference to the hdnemo name, so, if you have a problem, talk to him. It's not me.

Beeny boy for example is a friend of mine. As he has not participated on the board enough. He will not make the list this year.

Jeff is a friend of mine, he has not "driven" during the cruise or scs yet. The car came out late in the year. So, it will have to prove it's street worthiness before the end of the year as well.

If I was showing favoritism, Jeff and Benny would be on the list already.

That's not how it works. I update the list per the rules. If there is a question on any of the times. It's up to the admin / mods as a group, as John has already said.

Everyone bitches at me, because i update a friggin excel database. It's not "Beefcake's" dozen, it's Stangbangerz Dirty Dozen.

It's the same thing that happens every year at the end of the year. EVERY YEAR.

That's not the case here at all. Terry doesn't own the dozen, he only updates this thread and keeps the list accurate. Decisions regarding eligibility for the dozen are not under any one persons control, we make a group decision if there are any potential issues. This eliminates any bias or personal issues. Tim (Capri1979) hasn't been posting on this board actively till last night. He was posting under someone elses name (which wouldn't count), but I can't find any attempts to PM me or another admin, or open up a thread in the help section, or email the board via the contact us link to request his password reset.

The bottom line here is that though he may have participated in SCS events and maybe others that would qualify him for the Dozen, he hasn't been an active member of the board till last night (at least officially).

I'm fairly certain that after some more of the mods weigh in with each other that we are going to not allow him on the Dozen this year. This doesn't take away from the hard work that he put into his car, or mean that we don't want him to be a part of the SBZ family. Stick around, have fun with us and lets see you at near the top of the list for the 2012 dozen.

The rules have not changed. They are the same rules vinny had, it's pretty simple in a sum up. Come to "SBZ Events" and be a "participating" member on the board.

Vinny's idea was around true street. A 30 mile cruise and run the car.

When Craig started up the new Shootouts, we added the shootout as a Stangbanger event as well. Although the cruise falls short with only being 15 miles, we are still counting it.

I do believe the cruise range should be doubled in the future, but it's not my event.

I will post it again, as it seems I always have to several times at the end of the year.

Vinny's rules, not mine or anyone elses.

Here ya go.....

Also, you can expect things to shake out at the end of this season to level the street-car vs race-car issue. We're going to pick a test and tune day at the end of the season, have all potential dozen members meet at a set location and DRIVE to the track and make passes. This will weed out the 5 gallon fuel cell race cars, prove their street credibility as well as keep the list local. If you can't make a test and tune session around here then you aren't local. We may recquire that all dozen list members attend the fall cruise-in as well to once again prove their street creds as well as their involvement with this site. We don't need one-post-wonders claiming to be a SBZ member, making the cut and leaving somebody off the list with more of a street car and more time on this site.

So with that, I'll start the first round.
"His car isn't really a street car" is something I hear a lot. Problem is, everybody's opinion on what a true street car is will be different. As the rules sit right now, a street car is defined as having license, tags and insurance. I made it this way only to parallel the NMRA Wild Street definition. This is probably the toughest one to call so making these cars come out on the street to stay on the list will make things more fair in my opinion. This can be accomplished by requiring the cars to drive to the track at least once and/or showing up at our big cruise-ins.

Remember kids, this is for fun, bragging rights and a decal....nothing more. No big money prizes, no sponsorship deals, no trophies....just some good ole boys bringing out their cars and putting a beating on 1320 feet of tarmac!

Thanks for reading

Vinny wanted street cars, period! For as long as I am here, I will fight to keep the dozen the way Vinny wanted it, and no one else.

[b]

Vinny wanted street cars, period! For as long as I am here, I will fight to keep the dozen the way Vinny wanted it, and no one else.yeah but vinny didn't run the dd with an iron fist like it is now. Vinny was a racer and hell would have to have froze over before he would have told jeff he didn't make the cut. This is why your guys dd gets slower every year and guys like me don't post our times.

Need to set up a race between Extreme and Stangbangerz. That would be funny.

imo why not let the list govern itself. if the members/racers see someone they dont think belongs let them point it out.

IMO the list was originally something fun and cool to have a friendly competition and show off some of the fastest mustangs in the tri-state. Vinny was a working class cool ass racer and if someone had to work 6 days a week 52 weeks a year to support their familys and couldnt make it out in their sponsored magazine featured race car every weekend. but bullshitted in the garage with other mustang enthusiasts/ members of this site, had his car tuned at and supported local speed shops that support this site, made it out one day a month to go race and have fun etc. I'm pretty damn sure he'd be on the list. And not having enough posts to be on the list what a joke. Just because you post on an internet forum while you sit around all day at your desk job doesnt make you any better than maybe someone who doesnt have a fancy laptop and wireless internet, maybe some racers post up when they get a chance to use the computer at a friends house or library, but still spend countless late nights in the garage with more members of this site than other who "make the list"

just a bunch of drama and BS if you ask me. turning something fun into some strict ass retarded rule filled bullshit.

you cant get around the fact that almost none of the "fast" guys even bother posting up for the dozen anymore. Why do you think that is Terry?

When you click the pwd reset link you will get an email with the link that is good for 24 hours. Click that link and your pwd is instantly reset and you are logged on. You get a 2nd email with your new pwd and you can either use that or go to your User CP and reset your pwd.

why are you asking me, i don't control the times?

His rules are what I posted. Not mine. And Vinny was actually pretty strict when it came to the rules. whether it be the dozen, threatening people, just being an asshole, etc..

The only problem that ever arrises on the list is with people that aren't included by "Vinny's rules".

I 100% think Jeff should be on the list. But, the car just came out after not being ran at all this year. And has not been on the street yet. It simply needs to do some kind of a cruise and he'll be on.

Jeff is one of the oldest members like myself and I consider Jeff a friend. You can't just run a number in a car that has never been out on the street and say it's a street car. That's why Vinny made the rules he did.

He specifically said it needs to prove itself at least once, if not 2 times per year.

VINNY SAID IT, not me.

im simply asking you what you think. WHY have so many people decided to not participate in the dozen?

I have no idea who has decided not to "participate". The only times I know, are the times that people post. Not the times that aren't posted.

It really is a pretty simple process. Come out and hang out once or twice a year, participate on the fourums throughout the year. Run a number, post it up.

Why everyone overcomplicates it, I have no idea. I have never had a problem with making a cruise in or 2 a year. Running the car, hangin out on the fourms. Hanging out with friends.

I've got together several times with guys from the board outside of the forums at the track, and just hangin out bs'ing.

It should be easy and fun.

At the end of the year, as long as I remember, people jump on the board that either just joined, or joined, and made 10 posts in the for sale section, came to no cruises, and want to be on the list.

If it and the community is important to you. Be here. You don't have to be here everyday, but drop by once a week for 10 or 15 minutes and see what's going on.

I agree, should take a poll and let the members make the desicion who should or shouldnt be on the list. Just because you dont have enough post is silly. Its about the guys and their cars not about texting each other like little school girls. How about we take a poll and get the real answer. It needs to be about the guys and the cars.

Just playing devils advocate. If it's not about the site and posting, then why not just the guys that want to hang out together get a little piece of paper and write down who they want in their group and who is the fastest, and have their own dozen and not worry about the web board.

In the end, their has to be some guidelines to follow. There just has to.

I agree with this statement. This is kinda what destroyed our hillsboro days because it became who had the biggest wallet or who wanted to go in debt the most. The thing that brought us all together ended up destroying our friendships because of dumb shit like this. If your proud of your hard work and the time you spent great , why does being number 1 on some internet forum hold so much power ?

The more I think about this, after reading the last couple posts, I can say it's because of the drama imho.

Every year, at the end of the year, this same stupid crap happens. The last couple years, it's me catching all the grief, for keeping a friggin database. I know Craig got fed up and didn't want to deal with it.

If people who didn't (and know they didn't) do what was needed to be on the list, their would be 0 drama!

Based on that, it wasn't a site problem that kept you from resetting your pwd.

It's funny how people want to bust my balls since I am posting the list. Craig included. The person updating the list is always "hated upon"

It's like no one remembers why Craig didn't want to do the list anymore. It was specifically because of this same thing.

All the bitching and complaining and people hating on the person trying to adhere to the rules.

The rules and my opinions have not changed since day 1! I guess now that Craig is the advocate for Middletown and doesn't want to take the heat, that I am left standing alone.

If we look back though at people not coming to "Stangbanger" events or posting on the forums.

My 9 year old can understand better than this guy....

Ok Paul, follow closely.

GAC was NOT a Stangbangerz event. Although, I appreciate you guys showing up.:bigthumb

Its not fair to all the guys who support this site and show up to events...
Scott has a very streetable, good looking Stang, but if he cant make the effort to show up to at least one Stangbangerz event or contribute something useful to the site, then why should he be on the list?

Everyone else on the list has been to The Spring and Fall Crusie ins and/or running of the ponys. Hell a couple have made ALL the events and are regular posters in here.

Either way...

He doesnt post, he doesnt show up to any SBZ events, he doesnt support SBZ....

You are correct.

Since you guys "dont post here very much" why are you still here?

As for Scott, noone is questioning his Stang nor what track it runs at. ( We have quite a few Dayton & Middletown guys that come to the evevts) The issue is He has not been an active member till he gets threatend off the Dozen. That looks like he is here to only be on the list and contribute nothing to the site.

An "honorable mention" should be made

If he has a geniune interest in SBZ, then he will post (valid posts not post whoring) and maybe bring his Stang to some events or even just show up. Then he can be eligible for the DD 2007.

I really dont see what is so hard here...You support SBZ by showing up to SBZ events and/or be an active member on the boards.

6) Must be a current active member of StangBangerz.com.
7) [b]Must attend at least one of the Cruise ins[b], at least one of the Dozen Shoot outs and possibly another Running of the Ponys.

Thats MY opinion:)

I agree, I am not sure what is being taken out of context.

All those quotes were in reference to the same thing. A person that had posted up a time on the dozen, and had never posted on the site or been to a Stangbanger event.

It's amazing that people simply can not read.

I DO NOT RUN THE DOZEN. I update the database list. That is all.

I'll be more than happy to let Dave, or John or someone else update the database next year. That way I don't have to take all the fukin grief that pops up the end of the year like every year. Then, whomever is the one posting up the list, can listen to everyone bitch and complain and tell them to pass the list to someone else. Just like every year.

IT's NOT MY LIST. IT"S THE STANGBANGERZ LIST. I AM NOT THE ONE WHO DECIDES WHO IS ON OR OFF THE LIST. ALL OF THE MODS AND ADMINS DECIDE. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK FUKING SKULL.

I was not on the top of the list until a break last week. As soon as NOSHOT reruns, and Jeff gets on the street, they will both move up on the list.

Craig was pretty well respected too, that didn't stop the bitching and complaining when he was updating the list.

It doesn't matter who does it. And again, I could give a shit who does it next year. It's been the same pattern every year since we've had the list. Even when Vinny was here there was the same drama and people bitching about.

And it's for the exact same reasons now as it was then. It has nothing absolutely nothing to do with who updates the list. It has to do with people who know they don't qualify, posting times to be on the list, and then the bandwagoner / trouble makers jumping on board stirring the pot.

It is 100% that simple!

You should be use to it by now.

It's like no one remembers why Craig didn't want to do the list anymore. It was specifically because of this same thing.

Actually I figured it would be a conflict of interest between shops and was trying to avoid conflict by staying neutral in the hopes that more people would post their time. I was guessing if someone doesnt like me, then why would they post if I was "maintaining" the list

All the bitching and complaining and people hating on the person trying to adhere to the rules.
Been like that from day 1, you knew what you were in for.

The rules and my opinions have not changed since day 1! I guess now that Craig is the advocate for Middletown and doesn't want to take the heat, that I am left standing alone.

So you decided to drudge up OLD posts to try and take me down with you? Nice proof of character. Since when am I a "middletown" advocate? If you look at most of the current M-town guys, most of them are supporting other shops, which is fine, but dont think I am out helping any certain group.

If we look back though at people not coming to "Stangbanger" events or posting on the forums.
Ill be the first to admit that I dont show up to SBZ events like I use to. There are many factors that support my decision, but mainly, I HAVE A FAMILY WHO I LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH would be the #1 reason

Have a nice day.

I am used to it.

I don't know what updating the list has to do with shops, but okay.

I did 100% know what I was in for.

I am not trying to "drag you down". I was making a point that from day one, it's been this way just like you said, even when you were updating the list. And that you had the exact same stance that I, and most of the mods / admins / vinny had about who should be on the list. People seem to forget this though.

I was also trying to make a point that even when someone "respected" as some like to call it, is maintaining the list, this crap still happens. Hell, Vinny was the most respected person on the site, and it still happened when he was here.

So, next year, I will pass the torch to whomever wants to become the next willing victim and after a year or 2, they too will get tired of it, just as you did, and as I have and want to move on from it.

I know I am a newb to the tenth degree and have not yet participated much on the forum or been to any cruise ins, so my opinion should be mostly unbiased. Why not make the Dirty Dozen thread where times are listed only available to people with a certain post count? Kind of like the classifieds. You could set any amount of posts as a minimum and people could post their times and list members who witnessed the run throughout the season. At the end, all the moderators could figure out the top times and make one list. One post that tells the winners. Like you guys said, it is what it is. If someone is truly concerned about a sticker with their position, just get one that says "legend in own mind". This is not directed towards any one person, just the situation. Maybe a possible fix. The Dirty Dozen should not go away. Just my .2

You guys need to quit making this shit so difficult. Why not just run a dirty dozen true street event at the end of the year? You set a date and have everyone show up and unload if needed. Go on a street cruise and prove your road worthiness and come back and run em. If you can't make it to the running of the dozen you just don't make it on the list. I mean how simple is that? Obviously If you didn't make it to the NMRA race in BG you couldn't place there, so what's the difference? If you do it this way, everyone is working / tuning / testing, their cars throughout the yr and at the end the baddest boys get the props.
As far as showing up to events. Is it realistic that someone should have to take a vacation day from work to show up? I worked most every Sat and Sun this summer and barely had time to take a dump. I didn't make it to any get togethers, but I consider myself to be a participating member of the site. Should that kill my eligibility?

Here's my take, the dd has been the most accurate in the last 2 years due to the faster guys not posting there times BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT STREET CARS.Yes they can be driven on the street for a 30 mile cruise but they are not legit street cars .

Street car means something different to each individual. In my opinion the biggest thing the street cruise proves is that your car won't over heat driving on the road. 30 miles in stop and go traffic more than proves that. I don't know about you, but 10 min at idle and my daily driver gets up to temp, its the fact the cooling system is working that keeps it from over heating just sitting there.

In most situations I need notice. For instance we were informed today that Nov 1st we need to schedule our vacation days for 2012. True story.

Edit: I forgot to add that If I don't get enough notice, I would have to go back to my first point. "If you can't make it to the running of the dozen you just don't make it on the list."

The age old question of what a street car is will never be answered. It's different to each individual. I like the extreme side of things. If it has legit tags and insurance, it's all good to me. I know most people don't follow that logic and I'm OK with that. I know the rules for the DD are based on what Vinny wanted, but, I feel from what I knew of him, that Vinny would have given a certain amount of leeway to members, if he felt they deserved it. If you look at his quotes, he says things like, we "may" do this or that, etc. It was a fluid thing, it wasn't all in concrete. He understood that everything isn't just written in stone and that is that. He was searching for an answer to this whole thing himself. Look at the car he was building, it wouldn't fit what most of you would consider a street car.

The fact is, the DD is a shell of it's former self. The fast guys simply don't post their times to avoid the drama. This site was heading in the right direction in late winter-early spring, but something happened, and it splintered a lot of good that was going on. I don't think this site or the DD will ever be what it once was. It just won't. Does that mean I hate this site? Fuck no. For those of you saying if you don't like the rules, leave or GTFO. I don't have to agree with everything, or even everyone, to be a member here and enjoy most of what this site offers. You don't have to click on the thread if you don't want to read the complaints or whatever else is going on. Telling people to get lost definitely ISN'T the answer to all this.

I think a lot has been done to help people qualify for the DD, the SCS events that Craig has put on, adding the BG and Columbus NMRA events etc., and that's a good thing. I know where most all the rules come from, the one rule I don't understand or get where it came from is, where if you have to fix your car or if you change your combo for whatever reason, you're off the list? What's the benefit or purpose of this rule? If you ran the time, and it was witnessed and you qualify, why should changing anything void that? I understand if you no longer own the car you'd have to be off the list, but fixing your car or changing combos is grounds for being off the list? I don't get it. :dunno:

The broke then off the list rule helps to weed out someone who takes a stock car, throws a 300 shot on it to make one run down the track and run a good time, but melts down the motor in the process.

I remember a few years ago that became a big deal but I think most have just come to accept that by now.

Fair enough. I honestly don't have a problem with someone doing that though. I say "game on." The problem with a rule like that is if you have a member who beats on their stuff all season long, been on the DD the whole season, steps it up to try and get a better spot and blows up. I guess my idea of a street cars consist of more than a 5 gallon fuel cell , your nos bottle holder is not in the pass seat, you actullay own a set of street tires and dont bitch because you have to drive it on race fuel plus you have current tags and ins. We all now whos are street cars and whos are not.

Yep

The What a street car is and what isnt a streetcar debate is old.

Very true

The age old question of what a street car is will never be answered. It's different to each individual. I like the extreme side of things. If it has legit tags and insurance, it's all good to me. I know most people don't follow that logic and I'm OK with that. He understood that everything isn't just written in stone and that is that. He was searching for an answer to this whole thing himself. Look at the car he was building, it wouldn't fit what most of you would consider a street car.

I am one of those that usually lump a street car into the category of "something i would drive everyday". That doesn't make it right or wrong. Just my opinion.

I think the car should have a/c, this and that and all the creature comforts. But, like some have said. Some cars didn't come with a/c. And that is true.

Cars have come a long way the last 10 years even from where they were. and 20 years, even more so. It's all very subjective.

As far as Vinny's thoughts, you are correct. Take Jeff for example. Jeff is one of the oldest members of the board like me. There is no doubt he deserves to be at the top of the list. The only reason he currently isn't there is simply because the car hasn't been on the street at all. So, to be fair to guys that haven't made any sbz events or anything, that is why he is not up top.

If Vinny was here, he definately would want Jeff on the list as do I. Against popular belief, I know / don't think my car is the fastest car around. I had no expectation of that. It's a 4000lb brick. I think Jeff deserves it as of now, and i'm hoping some of the other cars get back on again as well before the end of the year. I have a 9 sec daily driver, and that is enough for me. I welcome the faster cars on the list.

The fact is, the DD is a shell of it's former self. The fast guys simply don't post their times to avoid the drama. I don't think thats entirely true. The "end of year" dozen issues have been going on since the beginning. Go back and look at posts at the end of every year, and you will see the same thing.

It is always, always, for the exact same reason. People that have not done what needed to be done to be on the list, post a time. The time doesn't get added. Then they bitch, and their friends or just people that like to stir the pot jump on board, and all hell breaks loose.

It's the same as it's always been. I don't see it changing. It goes hand and hand with the dozen. About the only way to avoid the drama is if a non legit time is posted, delete it and all posts related to it.

I think a lot has been done to help people qualify for the DD, the SCS events that Craig has put on, adding the BG and Columbus NMRA events etc., and that's a good thing. You are correct. Craig starting his shootouts was definately a positive thing. (just double the cruise, lol)

Adding the old school NMRA events was great too.

I can honestly say, i've had some great times with Bangerz. The year we all did the Georgia NMRA, many trips to Bowling Green with Epic camping. Cabrew trips.

As far as broke. It's kind of like John already said.

I'm a little mixed on the changing combo / regular maintenance. I think we've talked about some of that stuff this year as well. I had issues twice with kicking blower belts and knocking oil lines off. But, we fixed them at the track, and the car drove back, and came back the next week.

Like it's been said. If you can't drive the car under it's own power. It's broke.

I get stressed like everyone over this stuff. Like Craig said, I knew what I was in for, and i'm used to it with updating the list. It is what it is. I think for the most part, 99% of the people know the real deal. It's just the trouble makers that like to stir the crap. As many members as we have, you can see each year, it gets isolated to 3-5 people really stirring the pot.

Today, i'm in a much better mood about it.

I will also point out, threats and personal attacks don't go very far. I am doing a job that NOBODY wants to do, as it constantly leads to headache and grief.
LOL, Now I have offered to help in the past!

Why do you think that is Terry?

Oh I don't know the ECONOMY maybe?

I vote for either Tim Duncan (Timido) or Jeff (jeffs88coupe) to run the DD next year. Both of these guys are stand up guys and respectful to everyone equally. I think everyone on here respects both members and respect goes a long way. I'm sure there is others that would do a great job but these two get my vote. Beefcake, noone likes you.....GTFO!!!!

LMAO!

I don't care who runs it next year it will be the same whining and bitching over a sticker next year.
Agreed

I would think if you decide in the spring when and where the race is to take place then I don't see any reason why all the people who bitch and moan about the rules can't plan to make the race if the sticker is so f'n important. You don't see NMRA or NMCA events scheduled around someone's work schedule. Either you can make it or you can't and if you can't then better luck next year.
Exactly!

car has to be a street car, that definition is vague. if the car has never been on the street, it's not a street car is it?

the scs' and cruise ins are over. people made it or they didn't

this is being added strictly to try to get guys added to the dozen, and you still get the bitch and whine.

it's just like keeping the tracks open til the end of the year to try to get more people on, a couple years ago, you wouldn't still have opportunity this late in the year. No one is ever happy

My car broke 3 weeks after scs.All because of a bad rocker arm.I'm glad I have till the track closes to have a chance back on!!!:bigthumb

who cares. Really who cares?

I keep hearing about people that aren't posting times from u

Waaaaa waaaaa. Waaaaa. Do u have a car to post?

If the time isn't posted then it doesn't go on the list. If there is a secret society dozen. Then great for.them. other than that. Who gives a fuk about something that doesn't exist.

I hear Elvis is in tennessee, but until I see him who gives a.fuk

How many cars were at the spring cruise in? 20?

Well actually there were well over 40 cars, with about over 100 people in attendance, JUST from SBZ, according to my records that I have from the day. We had over 65 cars racing and well over 350 people at the track that day for the Spring Cruise in and Private Race Day, "The Preston Cup". It was a great time and great weather.

Back On topic:

I got the car back together, the head stud leaked AGAIN, so I put a couple GM coolant tablets in, and no more leak:bigthumb I am ready to go and beat the crap out of this new setup I got. It would be nice to break my Old PB of 11.56.
