I'm looking to sell my mexican block 347. I'm just going to pretty much list it here only as I don't feel like answering a thousand dumb questions and offers from the CL idiots. So if you or someone you know would be interested I would be more than happy to talk with you and share all the complete details. What will be included is the shortblock (eagle crank, rods srp pistons), stock oil pan, front cover and w/p, custom comp cam and lifters and ati balancer. I will also have available the vic jr intake converted to f/i and the bbk equal shorty ceramic headers. I do have 30lb injectors but may try to run those for now unless someone wants to trade straight up for some 42's or bigger. For the parts listed not including intake, injectors and headers I'm looking for $2k. I'm pretty firm on that price as I don't really have to sell it and will just keep it for future projects if it does not sell. BTW I do have the full build sheet for the buyer. This engine made 402/383 on the Cincy speed dyno with my box stock vic jr heads. Any other questions feel free to ask.

Awesome combo as I had almost the exact same set up minus the intake. Try and put one together for 2k or under...... GLWS Kenny can't wait to see the new combo

I've been reading over on the turbo forum and alot of guys have been making 600 plus on their mexican block/turbo combos and its making me seriously think of keeping mine. If someone may want this they better step up quick. I'm going to do a little more research but I may must put the 427 away for a bit and slap a turbo on this motor. I never realized guys had such success with mexican blocks

Kenny, on my old block with pretty much the exact same combo you have the srp's and all with that much compression a Novi 1000 pretty much slip my block in half there were only two spots in the valley that was holding it together. Split an eagle forged crank in half, turned three forged rods into S curves....... on and on the Gtech it said 505 hp and it's within about 2 hp of being dead on.

***Fair warning to any potential buyers***
Your exhaust may smell like burritos, carne asada or chimichangas when running this motor. Mainly depends on what mufflers you run. Carry on.

Btw I think I am going to stick w/ the 427 n/a right now. I'm not scared of bolting a turbo on this engine just wanna keep it simple. So someone has got to need this thing, it will make someone very very happy.

How do you determine a Mexican block, what are the characteristics or markings?

Also has 2 "nubs" protruding from the front, one under each head deck, and noticeably bigger main caps (on par with the 289 HiPo caps)

Will also sell my spider intake setup with this. Details are in the air intake section of classifieds. Basically you would be getting the complete engine minus the heads/rockers.

Intake setup is sold. I may also consider a trade for a 4 wheeler or possibly a golf cart. They must be nice though as I don't want any junk:D

This is a really nice setup for someone. Open to trades you never know if you don't ask. Would even package this with my sons extreme typhoon quad for some type of trade deal.
