Fresh 5.0 - under 1000 miles!

This is the engine I ran in my Volvo last year. The block is out of an '86 Lincoln Town Car, and the rotating assembly is out of an '89 Mustang. It is standard bore. It will come with stock E7 heads, rockers, and pushrods.

-Stripped, cleaned, and honed the block
-Cleaned the pistons and installed STD. Speed Pro Plasma Moly rings
-Polished the crankshaft and installed with new STD/STD bearings
-Ford Racing windage tray
-Melling oil pump
-Double roller timing chain
-ARP polished stainless hardware on the timing chain cover
-ARP head studs
-Two 1/2NPT oil return bungs welded in the oil pan and plugged

You can't put an engine together for this little...
I'll take a picture of it how it currently sits. It has a fox pan and timing chain cover on it, heads, valvetrain, etc.
It is ready to bolt in a car, add your intake, and go.

1000k mile distributor, brand new water pump, 1000k mile alternator, and March alternator bracket included and bolted on for an extra $150.

Did you scrap the turbo idea?

I sold the Volvo. Now I am doing an '81 Volvo 262c Bertone Coupe with a turbo LS motor. To make the power I desire I would have to have done a Dart block, big boy internal bits, Lenco, etc. which meant basically starting over anyway. I had a good time with it for a summer and moved on.
